How does no-show protection actually work?

When a client books an appointment, they receive a confirmation email. To confirm, they must authorize their card (like hotels do). The card is NOT charged at this point. If they show up, nothing happens. If they no-show, you can apply your fee with one click. We handle the payment processing through Stripe.

In our experience, legitimate clients appreciate knowing your policies upfront. The people who don't want to provide a card are often the ones who would no-show anyway. Most service professionals see their no-show rate drop by 60-80% after implementing protection.

What happens if a client has a genuine emergency?

You're always in control. If a client has a real emergency, you simply mark them as 'attended' or don't apply the no-show fee. The system never charges automatically — you make the final decision on every single appointment.

Can I set different fees for different services?

Yes! With the Pro plan, you can set per-appointment rules. Charge €25 for a missed haircut, €100 for a missed consultation. You can also set different grace periods and cancellation windows for each appointment type.

Absolutely. We use Stripe for all payment processing (the same platform used by companies like Amazon and Shopify). We never store full card numbers. All data is encrypted and we're GDPR compliant.

Can I cancel anytime?
